"A perfect bed and breakfast, down to the smallest detail, in a bucolic and very peaceful Vendée setting, on the edge of a beautiful pond. A warm and very attentive welcome; in short, undoubtedly one of the most pleasant bed and breakfasts we have ever stayed in. Beautiful garden and superb breakfast. We will return with great pleasure. "A very beautiful house where everything is designed for a gentle welcome, in the middle of a huge park bordering a beautiful pond with a huge bedroom, an XXL bathroom, and an adjoining TV lounge.

Frédérique and Philippe go out of their way to ensure your stay is a complete change of scenery in this idyllic setting where you just want to stay a few more days.

Breakfast and dinner were a fitting tribute to their hosts. A magical interlude during our visit to the Vendée region that we won't forget.

"We had a very pleasant time in your company at your table d'hôtes. The meal (including mogette beans and rillons) was delicious, and the Vendée wine was excellent. The room was beautiful, bright, spacious, and well-appointed, and the entire property was tastefully decorated. And then there was the peace and quiet! What did we like best? It's impossible to rank them: you were perfect. The meals were generous and of high quality. However, I don't have an opinion on the Wi-Fi connection. But perhaps one doesn't come to La Basse Bobinière to connect... Once again, a big thank you, and we look forward to seeing you again. Kisses from Berlin."

" Two nights spent in this haven of peace. You will be captivated by the place and won't want to leave. A sumptuous stone building set on a shimmering green estate, complete with a magnificent pond where you can enjoy various activities such as paddleboarding, boat trips or swimming, will offer you total disconnection and regeneration.

The hosts, Frédérique and Philippe, are welcoming, warm, and attentive to their guests' needs. They are always eager to share the wonders of their region and are incredibly generous with helpful advice to help you discover it for yourself. The rooms are exceptional, always nestled in a stone setting, clean, spacious, well-equipped, and tastefully decorated. The comfortable bedding will ensure you sleep like a log and leave you feeling refreshed. Your hosts can also offer you a set menu dinner in the evening. The meals served are hearty, balanced, home-style, and delicious.

But what makes it truly charming are the interactions with your hosts and other guests, which bring a richness often forgotten in our daily lives. The atmosphere is simple, relaxed, and friendly. The breakfast option allows you to start your journey off right, with a generous spread, fresh seasonal products, and impeccable service.

In conclusion, this stay with Frédérique and Philippe will exceed all your expectations, and even your bank account, as the value for money is exceptional (even for the set menu). Virginia and I wholeheartedly recommend these hosts. Until next time .

"Ideally located for exploring a beautiful region with numerous activities (including Puy du Fou). We felt right at home, with a simple and warm family welcome in a beautiful, peaceful, green setting. The rooms are very comfortable, spacious, and peaceful; nothing is lacking, the decor is lovely and retains the charm of the old stone. Frédérique and Philippe are very attentive while remaining discreet. The family-style meals are cheerful and delicious. Breakfast is extremely generous and tasty. If you are looking for peace, quiet, and tranquility in the heart of nature in a place with golden old stones, La Basse Bobinière is the place to stay! You will also receive the warmth of a wonderful welcome! We will be back!"

Frédérique knows the key ingredient for preparing a truly exquisite meal: passion for those for whom she cooks. Philippe, an unwitting wine enthusiast, generously shares the seductive and elegant local wines in the living room, which faces the imposing medieval fireplace and the "bundles of wood" behind which they can be found. The accommodation was comfortable, and the reception was very welcoming. Breakfast and dinner featured many homemade and regional products – a delight. The area has several wonderful places to walk and visit. We enjoyed a lovely walk in the Mervant forest and dined at La Table Gourmande.
