Frédérique and Philippe welcome you to the Domaine de la Basse Bobinière, in the heart of Bas Poitou, set in 3 hectares of lush greenery.

We have two holiday cottages available on our estate. Come and discover them today!
The guest rooms
We offer 4 guest rooms, each equipped with a 160x200 cm bed, a sitting area and a desk with Wi-Fi access.
Dinner service
For your breakfasts and dinners, Frédérique will be delighted to prepare a simple, homely meal for you, using local produce wherever possible.
Activities on the estate
You can enjoy the garden and the pond. The pond is perfect for swimming, rowing, fishing, paddleboarding, picnicking…
Activities in the surrounding area
Philippe and Frédérique look forward to showing you the hiking trails and running routes for the more experienced. The charming little towns, Puy du Fou, the Poitevin Marshes...
Car hire
Are you coming by train or carpool?
Don’t worry, we can provide a car for €20 a day (excluding fuel).
We can pick you up at the Fontenay-le-Comte coach station.
Bicycle hire
We have bicycles available for you to borrow free of charge.

An excellent stay at the Domaine de la Basse Bobinière! The setting is beautiful, peaceful and immaculately maintained – ideal for recharging your batteries. The welcome is warm and attentive; you feel at ease straight away. The rooms are comfortable, tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. Special mention must go to the meals and breakfast, which were delicious and prepared with care. A charming place that I would recommend without hesitation for a relaxing break surrounded by nature.

If you’re in the area, look no further! You’ve found THE perfect bed and breakfast.
We had a wonderful time during our two-night stay, which included meals. The food was of the highest quality, featuring local produce. A superb aperitif and a hearty breakfast, all in an enchanting setting.

A second stay with Frédérique and Philippe at this magnificent estate, a true haven of peace and greenery that we discovered last year.
Both the self-catering cottages and the guest rooms are tastefully furnished, and the bedding is incredibly comfortable. The shower rooms and bathrooms have all been renovated with high-quality fittings.
We loved your warm welcome, and sharing a meal with you was a real privilege.
The generous and varied breakfasts will satisfy even the heartiest of appetites, with homemade jams and yoghurts, eggs from the estate’s hens, and more.
Ah! I almost forgot the pond, perfect for swimming, rowing and paddleboarding, and the grounds, which are ideal for relaxing.
A special mention for Zouk, a very endearing dog. We’ll be back!
